What are By-Laws? Why do we need them?

By-Laws are designed to provide good governance of the Kimba area, and will assist us in providing a safe and comfortable space for our community and visitors. To enable council to best support a growing and welcoming community to live, visit and work, By-laws provides councils the ability to manage the public realm and certain activities.

We pride ourselves in driving innovative and accountable leadership for a vibrant, sustainable Kimba.

Public Consultation opens on Thursday, 11th January 2024 Closes: 5pm, Thursday 22nd February 2024 Copies of the Draft By-laws can be collected from the Administration Office (cnr Cross St) or via the below attachments:

Council encourages you to get in touch with any of our Elected Members or the CEO to provide your thoughts on the By-laws. Submissions can be made via email - council@kimba.sa.gov.au, by post to PO Box 189, KIMBA SA 5641 or dropping them off at the Administration Office located on the corner of Cross Street and West Terrace, KIMBA.
