Searches can be ordered through Council via email.
Search prices
Rates for Section 7 & 187 searches are set by the state government. As per the Government Gazettes from 18 May 2023 the fees are:
- Urgent Search - $80.50, with a 48 hour turnaround
- Full Search - $66.75, with an 8 day turnaround
- Rates only Search - $39.00 with an 8 day turnaround
Types of certificates
- Section 187 - Rate Certificates
- Update - Free within 3 months, not applicable if new financial year
- Section 7 - Council search (Certificate of Title required)
- Full Search - Section 187 + Section 7 (Certificate of Title required)
- Urgent Full Search - 24 - 48 hours Section 187 + Section 7 (Certificate of Title required)
