Grey Nomads Program

Are you coming through KIMBA and do you have your own caravan or motor-home?

Are you interested in being a VOLUNTEER? You can volunteer at one of the Kimba Community Volunteer Projects in exchange for a FREE CAMP!

We invite touring Grey Nomads to join our community for the betterment of our town and community, by working along side our volunteers within their organisations. The program is to enable the continuation of skills, passing on traditions that without sharing would be lost, and to invite new people into our community to provide cultural and community development and mate ship.

The Kimba Community Development Group have a range of projects available within the town of Kimba for you to participate in.  
In return for 2 full days volunteering we will provide you with 7 nights free camp-site and full use of camp facilities.

Our community has a proud history of volunteer participation and without this wonderful resource the vast majority of our facilities and services would never have seen the light of day. It is this sentiment that we wish to encourage and develop with the help of another fabulous community, the touring Grey Nomads.  If you have a couple of days to spare and enjoy working with other likeminded people, we’d love to hear from you.
