Kimba Area School are requiring multiple relief bus drivers to drive students to and from school on a casual basis.

At Kimba Area School we run 7x Department owned Yellow School Buses which service our school community twice a day, 7.00am-9.00am and 3.00pm-5.00pm.

RELEVANT INFORMATION:

• Have minimum LR drivers licence.
• Applicant must hold (or be working towards) a current Driver Accreditation.
• Bus drivers are employed on a casual basis, salary is based on Transport award and employed through Department for Education, Transport Services.

REPORTING/WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:

• Relief Bus Drivers will work as a member of our Bus Driver Team and will be accountable to the Business Manager.

DUTIES include:

• Drive the bus from school in the morning and after school (or part day option) when required by school.
• Manage the behaviour of students on the bus.
• Maintain the interior and exterior of the bus in a clean state.
• Refuel the bus and carry out daily maintenance checks.
• Maintain the Log Book.
• Other duties as required under DFE Transport Policy.
