Born and raised in Kimba, Brian has spent most of his life living and working in the district. After finishing school, he returned to the family property, where he has farmed ever since and developed a deep connection to the land and the local community.
He has been actively involved in many major community projects over the years and continues to play a hands-on role in local groups. Brian is a member of the Waddikee CFS, Treasurer of the Kimba Uniting Church, and is currently serving his fourth term as an elected member of the District Council of Kimba. He also contributes to Council’s Audit and Risk Committee and the Bushfire Prevention Committee.
Married with four adult children and a growing crew of grandchildren—three of whom live on the family farm—he’s passionate about ensuring Kimba remains a great place for future generations. Brian sees his role on Council as an opportunity to serve the community, helping to strengthen local services, support progress, and build on the district’s proud community spirit.
