Fees and Charges

Fees and charges are payable upon lodgement of the Development Application.

Construction Industry Training Levy

The Construction Industry Training Board Levy needs to be paid on any construction with an estimated cost of $40,000 or more. As of July 1st 2016 this needs to be paid before the Development Application is lodged. A copy of the receipt of the levy payment needs to accompany the Development Application.

For manual payment, forms are available at the Council office to be sent away, or the applicant can visit and pay the levy online by one of three methods:
1. Credit Card (this is the only way to recieve a receipt straight away via email)
2. Funds Transfer
3. Cheque

Funds transfer or cheque payments will recieve the receipt by email (or mail) once the payment has cleared.

Certificate of Title

As of June 1st 2016 all development applications lodged must now have a copy of the Certificate of Title (CT) for the subject land, attached with the lodgement application. Schedule V of the Development Regulations lists this as a required document. This can be done by the applicant making a copy themlseves, or by paying Council $28.75 (current price) for Council to download the CT from the Services SA site.
