Kimba Art Prize & Exhibition 2023
Everyone’s favourite Art Prize is back in 2023! Full details to come, but pencil in Opening Night on Friday 15 September on your calendar!
* Artists and photographers welcome to submit up to three art works.
* They must be an original composition by the artist and must not infringe copyright.
* Entry fee is $10 per artwork and must accompany every entry form. Closing date for entries, Friday 1st September 2023.
* Payment made to Kimba Community Development Group, BSB: 015462, ACC: 313798666
* Reference Art Prize and Artist Name. Cheques must be sent with entry forms to PO Box 521 Kimba, SA, 5641.
* All artwork for sale must be at the price indicated on the entry form and must take into consideration 15% commission and
GST if applicable. Additional entry forms available on Kimba council website www.kimba.sa.gov.au.
* Artwork must be on canvas or framed, and suitably wired ready to hang. Artwork without these will not be exhibited. ENTRY
LABEL must be attached to the back of each art piece and a PACKAGE LABEL attached to the relevant packaging. See
accompanying sheet of labels. Please ensure your work is packaged to avoid damage when exhibition is finished.
* Artwork previously exhibited at the Kimba Art Prize & Exhibition will not be accepted.
* Eligibility for the Local Artist category will be based on residential address within 5641 postcode.
* The Kimba Community Development Group Inc reserve the right to display all artworks without explanation and while every
care shall be taken, will not be responsible for any loss or damage. The Group also reserve the right to publish media of any
entry for the purpose of exhibiting or promoting the Kimba Art Prize & Exhibition.
* All freight expenses are the responsibility of the artist, including return freight. Artwork can be delivered to Eyre Business
38 High Street, Kimba from Monday 28th August to Thursday September 7th, 2023. Eyre Business is open Monday to Friday
8.30am – 4.30pm. Delivery on weekends can be arranged by emailing kimbaartprize@gmail.com.
* Artwork to be collected Thursday 28th Sept from 5pm—7pm (note art work will not be released earlier than 5pm) or Friday
morning 29th September 9am to 1pm from the Kimba Town Hall. No works can be released prior to this date. No responsibility
will be taken for artwork not collected.
