Pay Your Rates

Payment Methods:



This can be accessed from your phone or internet banking of your financial institution. You can pay from your savings, cheque or credit card account.

To pay your rates account - enter in the Biller Code 199349. The Reference Number is your Assessment Number as it appears on your rates notice.

You must pay a minimum of $10 per assessment. If your account is for less than $10, you can still pay $10 and your account will go into credit. To ensure that your payment is received on time, Council recommends processing your payment at least two clear working days before the due date.

Send your cheque or money order to PO Box 189, Kimba  SA 5641.
Please allow up to 5 working days for mail payments to reach council by the due date.
Post dated cheques will not be accepted.

Payment can be made with Mastercard, Visa or Access card at the Council office.
Minimum transaction - $10 and no cash out.

Opening Hours are 9.00am - 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.
We accept cash, cheque and EFTPOS.
Post dated cheques will not be accepted.

Rates Notices and Due Dates
Rate accounts are sent out each quarter. Rate accounts are posted between 30-60  days before the due date. 

For 2017/2018 the due dates for quarterly installments are as follows:

  • First Instalment Monday 4th September 2017
  • Second Instalment Monday 4th December 2017
  • Third Instalment Monday 5th March 2018
  • Fourth Instalment Monday 4th June 2018

Fines on Rates
Fines of 2% will be imposed for the late payment of quartely installments. Any payments not received by 5:00pm on the due date are considered late. Council does not take into account delays in the post. Interest charges will also be applied to outstanding amounts each thirty days afterwards.

Alternative Payment Option - Single Instalment
Council offers a discount of 2.5% for the payment in full of all rates and service charges for the 2017/2018 financial year by Monday 4tht September 2017. For more information contact the Rates Officer.
