Council has again been active during the year in maintaining and upgrading the parks, gardens and reserves within the Kimba township. This would not have been possible without the assistance of many keen volunteers, both individuals and groups, working together with Council to improve the overall appearance of the township.

Upgrades included the following:

• Longterm plan development of Recreation Reserve
• Upgrade Kimba Pioner Memorial Institute

General Maintenance undertaken in the ordinary course of Council operations includes:

• Mowing Reserves, Footways & Ovals
• Garden Maintenance
• Tree Trimming
• Weed Spraying
• Lawn Management
• Water and Irrigation Maintenance
• Litter Collection
